Hello All!

Well we went and had our sonogram on at the begining of December and "It's A.......


I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family. We had a great time this year with our friends that we spent last Thanksgiving with, Craig, Emily, Matt and their newest addition Andrew. It was a nice quite/relaxing day. All three kids napped at the same time...yes mark that down as history in the making :-)

Is it really November already!!???  My how time does pass by...

We have had a lot of fun this month visiting family, getting ready for Halloween and waiting for the cooler weather to come our way!!

We went to Mississippi at the begining of the month to visit Hanks family and my parents come up from Florida so Elly was so lucky to have her grandparents all together, plus cousins, aunt and uncles!!!

We had a great Halloween...Elly and her B.F.F. dressed up as Thelma and Louise (a nickname given to them by Addie's mom Robyn) :-).

Hello All!

Things are great in the Howell household.  We are enjoying life and having fun watching Elly grow up, she has her fathers sense of humor and not his dancing ability so we think she will go far HAHAHAHAHA

We had a really nice Fathers Day this year just hung out at the house and grilled a very yummy dinner.  As the summer has progress it has become a VERY hot summer here in Texas, record temps of over 100 and now 99 feels like a cold front, so we haven't spent a ton of time outside. We are heading to the Northwest in a couple of weeks and can not wait to get out of the heat and see our friends.

We have been an out and about family these last couple of months.  Elly loves to get out, see the world and her friends!

We took Elly to Enchanted Rock, this a place that Hank and I love to go to.  It is out in the hill country and for most of you that have come to visit we have taken there.

We had a wonderful day and Elly had her first Easter Egg "Hunt"...

Well time is just flying by this year and we have been back from our ski trip for almost two weeks now and I am just getting to post pictures.  Elly is keeping me pretty busy!  She is still turbo and is all over the place it is a ton of fun!

So we went to Breckinridge, CO for our vacation.  Met up with our friends and Hanks brother Paul it was a great time.

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday.  We had a nice Christmas in Orlando and for New Years we spend time out at Spirit Reins with our friends and got home before "the crazy people" got on the road. I was asleep by 9:45 and I don't think Hank wasn't long after that but I was asleep so I don't know for sure :-) .

Hank says that Elly is "TURBO" and it is the truth.  She started crawling right before we left for Christmas and now she is on the move and pulling up on everything expecially me...here is a video of her crawling and pulling up (she wanted that camera I was holding and she was telling me about it to.

Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! 

We spent Thanksgiving with our friends, Craig, Emily and Matthew.  We had a wonderful time at their house and they put on quite the spread of food. :-)

Well better late thank never!!!  I can not believe it has taken me this long to get this out but it has been a crazy month. My parents came into town for halloween and to help us out because I had surgery on the 5th of November and would be in the hospital for a couple of nights and couldn't pick Elly up for a week after the surgery, yes complete torture for me!!!  However, for my mom and Elly pure bliss :-) I am doing well and recovering fine.  Then we took Elly to the ENT doctor this past Tuesday because she has had ear infections back to back a had been on antibiotics for over a month.  The doctor scheduled to put tubes in her yesterday.  The proceedure went well and she is doing great!

Elly and I traveled to Oak Harbor, Washington this past week.  My niece (best friends daughter) turned 16...I had visions of my future :-)  We had a wonderful time with our extended family.

Elly got to meet her Granmomma Chris for the first time.  They had a wonderful time...Elly has never fallen asleep anywhere but her crib, car seat or on me, however for Granmomma Chris she slept right next to her on the couch:



Elly also got her fist massage from Granmomma Chris (she is a massage therapist)



Elly loved hanging out with her cousin Joe, he made her laugh quite a bit.

 

We loved being in the Northwest it was so beautiful, green trees, blue skies, cool temps - however we are Texas girls so we had to stay bundled up: 



We went to the pumpkin patch where Maggie was working and had a good time there...

Elly was very excited about the ice cream (so was I fresh made waffle cone and ice cream - I don't care what the temp is there is always room for ice cream)





That was our last day in Washington, I guess our trip had to come to an end sometime :-( We both missed Hank so much and Hank said the house was "soooo quiet".  It was hard traveling without Hanks so when they said I could upgrade to 1st class I thought about it for 2.5 seconds then jumped on it.  The nice people didn't put anyone next to us so we had two 1st class seats and Elly was living it up. Bitter biscuit, Baby Einstein DVD and a pillow...doesn't get much better than that.
